We headed out to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday. It was great because it was not busy AT ALL. We didn't have to wait in line for anything. It was opening weekend and the weather was warm. We always pick out 3 pumpkins. We each pick one....a daddy pumpkin, a mama pumpkin, and a baby pumpkin. Sage is such a little perfectionist, it took forever for her to pick out her pumpkin. I like short and wide pumpkins, which apparantly my daughter does not, so she was not happy with the pumpkin I wanted for myself. I told Scott that we will need to pack a meal when we go and pick out our Christmas Tree. That should take forever with Sage's requirements.
A fun little ball toss for the little ones.
This is the new "picture smile". Isn't it horrid? She looks like she's in pain.
We have a picture of the two of us in this same place for each year of Sage's life.
Face painting is the biggest hit for her. She loves it.
Pony rides are a huge hit too!
Sitting at the bottom of this huge hay hill. It is made for the kids to climb it. Sage? NO WAY! She told Scott she wanted to go the top, so he took her up. It resulted in a huge meltdown! Chicken!
Looking for the perfect pumpkin!

We love Fall around here. We have been out walking every night, enjoying the cool evenings. We've been baking lots of yummy stuff and making lots of homemade soups. Sage had her flu shot the other day and as her "reward" I took her to a Halloween Store. It was crazy scary. There were zombies, skeletons, werewolves, vampires everywhere. There were graveyards set up with animatronic ghouls in them. She LOVED it! We were there for an hour. I had to drag her out. She wanted to go around and push all the buttons that made them come to life. I felt like a horrid mother for letting her do it, but she seriously loves stuff like that. She knows it is pretend and has never been afraid of things like that. On our walks each night, she is on the lookout for any scary Halloween decorations. Our neighbors have a huge scary zombie on their deck and she calls him her "Zombie Friend". She's a little weirdo!

That is too cute! I absolutely LOVE the picture of her at the bottome of the hay stack with her hair blowing a little in the breeze. I like her "painful" smile! Very cute pics Kricket! Looks like a ton of fun!
Looks like tons of fun. We haven't been to the pumpkin patch yet. As for the scary Halloween store, I know the boys would take one step in and want out! That was our experience last year at the place they had in the old Circuit City.
Ahhh...the painful smile. That usually surfaces in kindergarten just in time for their first school pictures. Maybe you'll get it done with early?! Really cute pics. Looks like you guys had a great time!
