My Name Is Memory was a FABULOUS book. It's concept is so different than anyting I have read before. It is about a man who retains his memories from all his previous lives and his search for his one true love who doesn't retain her memories. It has a total cliffhanger ending since it's going to have a sequel. Loved it!

If You Were Here

Super fun, easy summer read. I was ready for a brainless book and this was it! I loved all the references to John Hughes movies. The couple in the book actually bought the house from Sixteen Candles.

Happy Father's Day!

This guy spent Father's Day teaching our niece how to kayak. It was a beautiful day to spend at the lake. Scott got to try out his new kayak that he got from us for Father's Day.

This little girl hung out on the shore and had no interest in kayaking. She was much more interesting in eating Cheetos.

Although hard to see in this photo, all the little white dots in the sky were para-sailors. We noticed them when we were driving home. They were jumping off some of the mountain tops. There were seriously hundreds of them in the air at the same time. It was really a neat thing to see. We even stopped and watched some of them land in a field. The girls were mesmerized!

Something Borrowed

I was finally in the mood for some modern "chic lit". My friend Jeanine recommended this book. Holy Cow! It was so good. I breezed through this book, even forsaking Words With Friends on my phone. The movie based on this is playing in theaters right now.

Divergent

Fabulous book! Especially for fans of books like The Hunger Games. This is going to be a trilogy and I am counting down until the next one comes out.
