Continuation.....

This is a continuation of the previous post....Blogger wouldn't let me post all the pictures that I wanted to!

Playground at Lithia Park

With my mom (Boo-Boo). We do something every Sunday or Monday with my mom. We love this tradition. Today was so much fun.

We finished the day off with a frozen yogurt from The Yogurt Hut. Mine was cappucino with oreos in it. I love this place. It is all self serve and then you just pay by weight. Yummy!

Table Rock

We had an unexpected beautiful day today, so we took full advantage of it, and went on a hike. It was Sage's first real hike. It was a round trip of about 3 miles, with half of it being uphill. She did so great. We didn't have to carry her at all. Wait, who I am I kidding? Scott didn't have to carry her at all. We enjoyed a small lunch at the top of the hike and enjoyed the beautiful view of our valley and of Mt McLoughlin. I even had asked a stranger to photograph our family. He happily obliged and Scott was mortified that I would ask someone to do that. Why are men so weird that way?

The Big Girl Bed

The big girl bed is a hit with Sage and Ruby! No problems transitioning at all. My heart is a little bit broken though.....I hate the thought of her growing up.

Enjoying the Sun

We had a really beautiful day here today, so we went to the park and then to a creek near my parents house so Sage could throw rocks in it (that is one of her favorite things to do). It was a nice day, and it was made better by the fact that my parents are keeping Sage overnight! She loves it and so do we. I already miss her though and can't wait to see her tomorrow.

Failure!

So...Hello ! I obviously fell behind last week, and was planning on catching up with one big epic post over the weekend. However, Sunday I started not feeling well and ended up being really ill this week. I have been the sickest I have been in as long as I can remember. In true mom fashion, I ignored my symptoms and kept trying to push through it. Yesterday, I finally realized I was in trouble. I was short of breath, had a fever, was really tachycardic (high heart rate), my lungs were terribly painful, and I was having blood in my sputum! Went to the doctor and got some antibiotics and some cough syrup. I have finally rested up and am feeling a lot better. I have not been able to pick up my camera since the weekend, so the project is out the window for now. I will keep doing my regular updates like I did before. At least I got one full month completed :( We got Sage's new bedroom furniture today and are going to set it up for her tomorrow night while she is at my parents house. Can't wait to see her reaction on Sunday morning. I will post some pics then.

Whipped Cream (41/365)

They always put a dollop of whipped cream on the tip of the straw. It is Sage's favorite part of her smoothie!

I Love (40/365)

I love......that she likes to sit on the counter and talk to me while I work in the kitchen. I love.......that she likes to listen to Lady GaGa and calls Bad Romance the "Rumba Song". I love.......that whenever someone calls her a princess she says " I am not a princess". I love.......her voice first thing in the morning. It has a sweet gravely sound to it that makes my heart happy. I love.....that she would rather watch Coraline and Jurassic Park then The Little Mermaid or Toy Story. I love.....that she is mine!

New Dinner Recipe (39/365)

A new recipe tonight. Chicken with creamy mushrooms and zucchini. Served with roasted potato wedges. It was pretty good. I would cut back on the chicken broth and half n half next time. It was a little too saucy and a little too creamy. The flavor was good and it was super easy. I will surely make it again.

Big Girl Bed (38/365)

We forced the issue today, and took Sage to the furniture store to pick out stuff for her big girl room. She has been so resistant to moving out of her crib. My girl despises change. I told her that if she moves to a big girl bed, then one of the dogs could sleep with her at night. That sealed the deal for her. We picked out the above bed with storage drawers underneath, a matching dresser, night stand, and mattress. We also bought a new kitchen table. Our current table is tiny and only seats 2. Our new one will seat 4. Can't wait to get everything.

Refreshments (36/365)

An Almond Joy Granita for me, a strawberry smoothie for her. Whipped cream on both. Makes for a refreshing afternoon (and helped wipe out my headache).

Everyday (35/365)

They want out a million times a day and then in a matter of minutes, they are back, huddled in front of the door, waiting impatiently to get back in. It is so annoying, yet I do anyways because I love them to death.

Self Portrait (33/365)

Absolutely nothing take pictures of today. I don't have a point and shoot camera, and I hate lugging my big camera around with me. I just did home visits today, so nothing exciting. Hopefully tomorrow will bring something interesting. Goodnight!
