Hello Joe!

After 11 years in the valley, I finally went to a Britt Concert! I know, slap me or something. Okay, I totally should have went years ago. It was so much fun. The atmosphere, the food, the friends. We saw Joe Nichols, a country singer (I love country music!)
Here's Laurie with Joe after the concert. He stayed and took pics with anyone who wanted to. What a generous guy!

Me and Joe!
He sounded great and was pretty easy on the eyes too :)

Kathy and Joe. Next up.......Blake Shelton at the end of July and then Gary Allan in September.

Waterworks

Spent the weekend in Redding at the Waterworks Park. It was an all girls trip. 4 moms and 4 kids. Everyone had a great time. It was so hot there...we all decided we NEVER want to live in Redding. The above picture is all the kids at Red Robin after the slides.
Sage and Jordan in the kiddie area of the park

Laura and Robin at the top of the slides, getting ready to race each other down. They were so adventurous. Laura, you especially. I didn't go near a waterslide.

Laura and Robin hitting the water. I fulfilled my promise girls...no swimsuit shots on the internet :)

Our New Ride!

I don't know why......I don't know why......Okay, yes I do. We really needed a car that would fit all of us comfortably. Scott barely fits in my Outback (he's too tall) and his truck was an extended cab, not an extra cab, so Sage was outgrowing the backseat. Her feet were up in the cab! So, we sold the truck and go this fancy new jeep. Scott is in love! I haven't even been in it yet. I'll go for a ride tomorrow :)

Another Summer

It seemed like summer finally arrived last weekend. We went to Aunt Lollie's apartment complex pool. I was hoping since it was a new year, Sage would be more interested in swimming. Ummmm....NOPE! She would barely put her feet in. Getting in the pool was completely out of the question. She threw dive balls the entire time and wanted Aunt Lollie to get them for her. Lollie happily obliged.......she is too spoiled :)
