Diamond Lake Day 2

Day 2 at Diamond Lake....before I start, I need to say that I should be ashamed of myself as a scrapbooker. I put very little effort into my picture taking (I was too busy with my geriatric dog), so the quality isn't the best and I didn't document everything. In fact, I documented very little. I didn't even get a family picture! Bad bad me!

Tessa, my 12 year old niece, making homeade cinnamon rolls with her little helper. The rolls were out of this world delicious (and I didn't photograph them). Tessa is turning into quite the little baker.

Lots and lots of fishing took place for my dad, Scott, and brother in law James. Here's Scott getting ready to go out on the boat.

My Dad loading the boat. Our cabin had its own private boat dock which we also swam off of. We never had to go to the public beach. It was awesome.

Our cabin. It was fabulous. It had 4 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A kitchen, family room, and living room. It was so roomy and fit our entire family perfectly.

Tessa & Sage getting ready for a swim off of our dock.

Sadie, my 10 year old niece, and Sage swimming around.

Everyone in the water! Mt Bailey is in the background. It was our view from the front deck!

More lounging dockside (that's my sister on the dock)

We did lots of biking too. Scott rode the entire 11 mile path around the lake in less than 50 minutes! We recently got new bikes and we really broke them in on this trip. Sage, of course, wouldn't go near her bike.

Pop Pop (my Dad) with his girls!

Sunset on the dock.

An awesome lightning storm blew in suddenly and this was the exact color of the atmosphere. It was awesome!

That sure looks like a beautiful place. LOVE the last 2 pics, esp. the one w/ the flare! Don't beat yourself up abt. not taking pics of everything, you can still do some great scrappin' w/ the pics you have, just journal the things you want to remember. Hope Lucy did OK.
